 i am a father who just graduated nursing school. i am a very determined individual. however, some unfortunate occurences have prevented me from breaking the poverty line, and obtaining my liscense to practice as a nurse. 1st we helped my wives cousin who is a recovering addict she is really trying to rise above her past. however until she starts going to school and working we have been supporting her and her signifigant other. bills were mounting since i was the only income. my job was an hour and a half away, and even though i was making 11.00 dollars an hour the gas and commute were killing me. i applied to a more local clinic for a job the director of nursing told me i would start on sept 25th , and to submit a resignation at my old job. I did so with the assumption of starting on the 25th. a week went by with no call so ai contacted the clinic to see when i was filling out my hiring packet. at this time i was told that my labs were not sent back to the company and my new start date would not be till the 30th of oct. i have -233 dollars in my account no viable income until november 16th and no prospects of employment until then. bills are mounting and my dream of taking my nursing boards keeps getting delayed. i am not one to ask for a hand out it physically hurts to do so. however, i am in a conundrum i have three weeks till i start work no nursing assistan jobs hire in less than a week and a half due to various labs and background checks that must be performed. i have no money to pay bills and have been struggling since nursing school graduation. if anyone can help with advice donations resources i would greatly appreiciate it i need at least 2500 to maintian my house which is almost in foreclosure car the nursing board test etc. i will set an agreement to pay this loan back since i am a hairsbreath away from my career goals. please respond at emtnur1@yahoo.com if you can help. respectfully scott1 a have a loan posted on prosper if interested refer to link below
